Elders' Packs: Elders' Packs are now ready for collection from the Church office. Guild, Wednesday 8th February at 7.30pm in the Large Hall. Celia Walker will give a talk on "A glimpse of life in the Antarctica and the Southern Ocean". All very welcome. Sunday 12th February: Guest preacher, Rev. Robert Brown, formerly of Queen's Cross Church, Aberdeen. Guild Soup and Sweet Lunch: Sunday 19th February in the Large Hall, immediately after the morning service. Tickets available from Guild members: Adults £6.00, children free. Proceeds to Guild funds. All very welcome. Church and Culture: Wednesday 22nd February, 12.30 to 13.00, Art Gallery visit to the lunch-time talk on the current exhibition "From Van Gogh to Vettriano" featuring works of art from private individuals on loan to the Art Gallery. For details, please see Alan Jackson. Meeting of the Kirk Session: There will be a meeting of the Kirk Session on Tuesday 28th February at 7.30pm. All Offerings from the Christmas Eve services, Jubilee services, Christmas Day service and Ashley Road primary school Christmas service went to the Young Carers' Services, organised by VSA. Reg. charity No SCO12950. £1,195.09 was collected. Thank you for the support given to the charity. Choir Carol Concert: Thanks to all who came along and supported the choir. £295 was raised for Street Child of Sierra Leone (charity no 1128536) www.street-child.co.uk a charity which aims to reduce the number of young people living on the streets of Sierra Leone by reuniting them with their families and putting them back into education. Enquirers' Group: Anyone interested in fining out more about Christian beliefs and what it means to be a member of the Church should contact Rev. Duncan Eddie if interested.
